AMBICO ACOUSTIC BORROWED LITE WINDOWS CERTIFIED TO STC 56 BY WESTERN ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC LABORATORY

November, 2004:: AMBICO Limited has manufactured acoustic window products for a number of years. Tests conducted in July, 2004, at the Western Electro-Acoustic Laboratory in Santa Clarita, CA, confirmed that AMBICO's fixed steel window assembly achieved STC-56 in accordance with ASTM E 413-87 (Re-approved 1999).

The Western Electro-Acoustic Laboratory is accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) Lab Code 100256-0.

The methods and procedures used for the tests conducted conform to the provisions and requirements of ASTM E 90-02, Standard Test Method for Laboratory measurement of Airborne Sound Transmission Loss of Building Partitions.

AMBICO's STC-56 windows have the appearance of standard, fixed architectural windows and install seamlessly into most wall and architectural styles.

This product will be of particular interest to architects and engineers when designing broadcast studios or testing laboratories where high performance sound attenuation is required.
